In August 2008 “Success”, owned by Ian Braine, was horse-drawn from Weston Wharf, near Stafford on the Trent and Mersey Canal, to the IWA National at Autherley Junction on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal.
The boathorse was Buddy, owned by Steven Rees-Jones of Bywater Cruises on the Montgomery Canal.
