In March 2009, the first ever display of “The Boathorses and Bargehorses of Britain” took place at the Shire Horse Society Spring Show at the Eastern Counties Showground, Peterborough.
Horses in traditional decorated boathorse harness were in the arena with a commentary about horseboating today.
